Alice Newlin MARIS of Bloomingdale, age 94, passed away at the home of her son, Cloyce Maris Bloomingdale RR early Tuesday morning, Jan 3. She was the daughter of Exem and Ann Picket Newlin. She was a member of the Bloomingdale Friends church. She is survived by the son; a granddaughter, Mary Ann Maris; three great granddaughters and one sister, Mrs. Mary Allee of Bloomingdale. The body was taken to the Bayles Funeral Home in Marshall and remained there until an hour preceding the funeral services which were held in the Friends Church in Bloomingdale Thursday morning at 10. Rev E. Woodard officiated at the services and burial in Bloomingdale Cemetery. - kbz
